New Week...

Last week was pretty good. We did get everything done we wanted to. We started memorizing the presidents and their dates they were in office. Ethan is so good with memorization! It amazes me. I wish I could remember things like that. He has the first ten or so down now.
We also started our new History book. Story of the World book four. He was excited to start it. I am so pleased with those books. We STILL talk about Egypt and the Nile river. We STILL get videos on Egypt and the Pharohs and Queens. That was all the way back in one of the first books! I love to see him learning so much...and me ;-) ! Hehe. It is fun.

This week we will be learning a new poem in Where the Sidewalk Ends by Silverstein. We will also be working on our handwriting. A little sloppy and lazy looking. Numbers and cursive aren't looking top notch! :-\

Oh...we found our Latin book!!! Woohoo! We couldn't find it for awhile so he hadn't been working on it! Ugh! But suprisingly he remembered almost all of the things we had alreay done over. Phew. I had already ordered a new book though so now we have two Prima Latinas! LOL Oh well. That's life I guess...

Slow...

This week has been a slow one for school. I dont know why, but it has been hard to keep motivated to get the work done. We are doing it...just not too excited about it. LOL Im hoping we will both have better attitudes tomorrow. We shall see....
